Aldwickbury School is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our dedicated wraparound care team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a key role in creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment at the end of the school day.

The successful candidate will help supervise and support children aged 4 to 11 years, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while encouraging participation in a wide range of fun and stimulating activities. From arts and crafts and games to outdoor play and creative projects, you will help provide a positive experience where children can relax, socialise and thrive.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, energetic and committed to supporting children's development through play. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Experience of working with children is desirable, although enthusiasm, a caring nature and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Working closely with the After School Club Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the club, assist with snack preparation, help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and ensure school safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

This is a part-time, term-time only position, working three hours per day. There is flexibility regarding the days worked each week, which can be discussed at interview.
