The Role:
The post holder will work under the direction of the Head Chef and Catering Manager to:
- Assist with the preparation and service of food to the required standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within all catering and dining areas.
- Ensure that food counters, condiments, and equipment are replenished during service.
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and rotation of stock as required.
- Adhere at all times to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- A hard-working, flexible, and professional approach.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Previous experience of working in a catering environment (desirable, but not essential).
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
