About the Role:
Bedford Girls’ School is seeking a proactive and professional Sports Lettings Supervisor to support the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art sports facilities during evening lettings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and presentation, and thrives in a varied, hands-on role.
As Sports Lettings Supervisor, you will ensure that school sports facilities including the sports hall, swimming pool, Astro and associated areas, are safe and welcoming for external hirers. You will be the main on-site contact for clients, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the site at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up sports areas and equipment ahead of bookings
- Conduct daily water tests and safety checks of the swimming pool & record findings.
-Meet and greet users, providing clear safety information and support
- Monitor bookings and respond to queries and messages
- Carry out regular patrols across the site to ensure compliance with lettings terms and conditions
- Follow and uphold safeguarding, health and safety and emergency procedures
-Log incidents and report maintenance issues as required
-Clean and reset facilities after use, replenishing consumables
- Unlock and lock buildings and respond promptly to fire panel activations
