Broomwood Hall is a family owned independent school in South West London for boys and girls aged 4-13.

We have a vacancy for a qualified Teaching Assistant based in our Lower School, in South West London, working with children aged 4-8.

The successful candidate will support the Classroom Teacher in the teaching and management of pupils in the classroom and playground, establishing good relationships with pupils and acting as a role model for them.

Key activities will include;

• Support pupils in undertaking literacy, numeracy and other learning tasks

• Preparing the classroom for lessons

• Undertake pupil record keeping

• Promote good pupil behaviour

• Encourage pupils to work independently and with others as appropriate

This role is offered on the basis of 40 Hours per week, 35 weeks per year, on a salary of £18,000 to £22,000 per annum dependent upon qualification and experience.
