September 2026

Dulwich College seeks to instil a culture of equity, respect and support for others, and offers inspired teaching, scholarship and learning in and beyond the classroom. A world-leading boys school with 1,630 pupils aged 7-18 years and a co-educational kindergarten and infants school of 230 (DUCKS), the College employs over 600 staff and enjoys a beautiful and historic site covering 70 acres in South London.

An experienced, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Art is required to join a team of diverse, skilled specialists including sculptors, printmakers, graphic designers, video artists, art historians, and ceramicists. All teachers will be expected to be able to teach multiple disciplines across a range of year groups from Years 7-13. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a strong and forward-looking team in a leading independent school where academic rigour is underpinned with a philosophy for free learning.

As part of the application, applicants are asked to attach a portfolio of work made with students of up to six pages. A portfolio of your own practice is also very welcome but not essential, and applicants should not feel disadvantaged if they do not submit one.

If invited to interview, you will be asked to bring a more extensive portfolio of your teaching work.
