Teaching Assistant

Summary

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant and will complement our Pre-Prep teaching team and will be based within our Early Years department on a full time, term time basis.

Detail

At Elstree, our Teaching Assistants have a genuine sense of achievement and fulfilment knowing that they have a positive impact on the children that they support. Based within our Early Years department, you will work alongside the class teacher, assisting the children with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs. Our Teaching Assistants also undertake additional responsibilities by running our after school ‘Ducklings’ club with an extended day until 6pm on at least one evening per week and an extra-curricular club.

Our salary for experienced, qualified Teaching Assistants is £17,992 (£24,883 FTE). Your Ducklings hours will be paid in addition to these salaries at £15 per hour.
