Godstowe is a thriving independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3 to 13, and boys aged 3 to 7.
The School occupies approximately 12 acres on the outskirts of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire with enviable facilities spanning buildings from the foundation of the School in 1900 to our latest brand-new state of the art Swimming Pool, completed earlier this year.
The School benefits from an enviable reputation, preparing girls for Common Entrance and Scholarship to the most prestigious senior schools in the UK. Although non-selective at entry, girls excel in all subjects. With 450 pupils overall, including approximately 90 boarders, pastoral care is at the heart of the School. We welcome pupils mainly from Britain, but many join us from abroad in preparation for senior schooling.
We are seeking to appoint a Director of Admissions from 1st November 2019, or earlier if possible. The post holder will report directly to the Headmistress and will liaise closely with the senior leadership team.
The Director of Admissions will be supported by an Admissions Assistant.
The successful applicant will handle the complexity of day-to-day admissions, a busy programme of visits by prospective parents, manage the administration process, as well as take an important role in the development of our pupil numbers. We are looking for an excellent communicator with an understanding of the principles of sales and marketing, strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy schedule.
Interested candidates should apply in writing by email to our retained Consultant Alan Hine at email@example.com or should feel free to call him for an initial discussion on 01865 339313.
Godstowe is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
