We are looking to recruit a Sports Assistant to work closely with the Head of Hockey and Sports Coaches, in delivering the best co-curricular sporting experience for our pupils. This is a fixed-term role, starting August 2025, for a duration of one academic year, and is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in a school environment, during a gap year.

• The successful candidate will have a strong background of playing/coaching Hockey to a high level.
• We require all applicants for this role to have at least a grade 4 in both English Language and Maths at GCSE and have a strong sporting background.
• The ideal candidate will be innovative, proactive, organised and place the needs of the young people at the forefront of everything they do, with a genuine interest in ensuring every pupil reaches their potential.

Salary: £443.30 per week (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)

Working hours: The post is 46.5 hours per week – term-time only (34 weeks per year), including evening duties and Saturdays.
