Kimbolton School is seeking a well-qualified, adaptable, enthusiastic and supportive Part Time Games Coach (with a specialism in Netball), to join our Sports Department on a fixed-term, maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will design and deliver games lessons across both the Senior (Years 7 – 11) and Preparatory Schools (Year 1 – 6), and will be expected to tailor their coaching techniques to different teams and abilities, ensuring all players are challenged and provided with continuous opportunities for improvement.
Although the Games Coach will have a specialism in Netball, there should be an ability to coach other sports as well (hockey, football, netball, cricket, tennis). Experience of coaching in a wide range of environments including schools, clubs and community settings is essential, as is working towards a current NGB Coaching Qualification (Level 2 or above). The ability to be adaptable, with transferrable skills in order to coach other sporting/games activities is also essential.
This is a fixed-term maternity contract, working up to 34 hours per week, for 34 weeks per annum.
