Part Time Games and P.E. Coach
dependent on experience
Moorlands School seeks to appoint a well‐qualified, motivated and enthusiastic games and P.E. coach to join its committed team, from September 2019, to provide P.E. teaching for pupils in Reception to Year 6 and games coaching for KS2.
We are a non-selective, IAPS co-educational Prep School and Nursery for children aged 2-11, conveniently located in Weetwood, close to the Ring Road in North Leeds. The school is large enough to have great facilities, but is small enough for all of the children to be known by the staff and each other.
Our pupils are incredibly proud to be ‘Moorlanders’ and benefit from the strong sense of community which exists within the school and live up to its motto – ‘Intrepide’. Pastoral care is a particular strength of the school and we work hard to ensure that each pupil achieves the very best that they can, both academically and through extra-curricular opportunities.
The ability to coach swimming would be an advantage and, depending on this, the role would be up to 20 hours per week, term time only, spread over Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2-5pm, Thursdays 8.30-5pm and Fridays 9.30am-5pm.
The closing date for applications is Monday 17th June, 2019. The standard school application form is attached.
Interviews will take place on Thursday 20th or Friday 21st June.
Moorlands is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
