The Head and Governors are seeking to appoint an exceptional senior leader to provide strategic and operational oversight of the School’s academic life. This key appointment will play a central role in fostering a delight in learning, an excellent work ethic and a culture of high expectations, achievement and success among both pupils and staff, while contributing significantly to the School’s long-term vision and development.

The successful candidate will oversee the quality of teaching and learning, curriculum design and delivery, assessment, tracking and academic progress across all year groups. Working closely with fellow senior leaders, Heads of Department and the Head of Learning Support, they will lead curriculum-based initiatives aligned with strategic priorities, ensure cohesion between academic and pastoral provision, and use robust data to optimise outcomes for every learner. They will support and develop staff through high-quality CPD, appraisal and professional dialogue, embedding effective pedagogical practice and sustaining the highest academic standards throughout the School.
