We are seeking an inspirational, enthusiastic and technically skilled Head of Computing & IT to join our vibrant school community. This exciting and varied role sits at the intersection of education and technology, combining the leadership of Computing across Years 1-8 with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school’s IT systems and digital infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be a highly effective classroom practitioner with strong technical expertise, able to inspire pupils’ curiosity and digital confidence while ensuring staff and pupils benefit from reliable, secure and forward-thinking technology provision. Working closely with colleagues, school leaders and external partners, they will play a key role in shaping digital learning, promoting online safety and supporting Pennthorpe’s ongoing digital development.

The closing date for applications is Friday 21st August, 2026 however, we will assess applications as they come in and may withdraw the vacancy before this date so early application is recommended.
