The Royal Grammar School Newcastle is seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Head of Junior School to join our thriving and ambitious Junior School community. This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role, working alongside a dedicated and talented team to shape the educational experience of our pupils and help them flourish both academically and personally.

As Deputy Head, you will combine a significant teaching commitment with strategic leadership, supporting the Head of Junior School in driving excellence across teaching and learning, pastoral care, staff development and school improvement. You will play a central role in ensuring that our pupils are known, valued and inspired, while championing the Junior School's ethos and helping children develop the confidence, character and resilience to thrive.

In the Junior School, our Superpowers of being Able, Strong, Calm and Kind are embedded in everything we do. We are looking for a visible, dynamic and forward-thinking leader who will embody these qualities and inspire them in others.
