The Opportunity
Shrewsbury House School, one of England’s oldest and most prestigious prep schools, is seeking an exceptional Registrar. As the "face of the school," you will be the first point of contact for prospective families, guiding them through the journey from initial enquiry to their son’s first day in the classroom.
This is a high-impact role working directly with the Executive Head, Head of Admissions and the Head of Trust Marketing to shape the school’s future cohort and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Act as a warm, professional ambassador for the School.
Admissions Pipeline: Manage the end-to-end journey for Reception through Year 8.
Events: Leading Open Mornings, assessment days and marketing events.
Strategic Growth: Building links with feeder schools and local nurseries.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a "people person" with a sharp eye for detail. You should have:
Exceptional Communication: The ability to engage with discerning parents and young pupils alike.
Organisation: Experience managing complex databases (e.g. SchoolBase) and admissions cycles.
Energy: A proactive approach to marketing and event management.
Note: Prior experience in an independent school setting is desirable but not essential for a candidate with high-level sales or customer relationship experience.

The role is full-time but part-time can be considered.
