We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support our pupils to become confident individuals with a love of learning. Additionally, you will provide structured play opportunities to enhance their personal development.

The successful candidate will be confident, pro-active and enthusiastic. Building successful relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues will be a key part of the role, therefore the ability to communicate with people at all levels is essential. This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching or an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

The Prep School is situated in the rural location of Wheathampstead village, only 5 miles from St Albans. As a rapidly growing school community, it is an exciting and innovative time in the Prep School’s history.

This is a permanent position offered on a full-time basis, 42.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (36 weeks per year). The working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak each day.
