Summary
Handling all aspects related to the provision of PE and Games teaching, including fixtures. Teaching students from Early Years to Key Stage 3 as required.
Detail
PE and Games Teachers are considered full members of the teaching staff and will, dependent on strengths and experience, utilise their skills to lead lessons, manage sports teams and officiate during matches and tournaments.
Working Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08.00-16.00, plus one after school club. Wednesday and Friday finish follows afternoon fixtures. The role is term time only, plus occasional inset days and weekend tournaments.
We are seeking individuals who will fully immerse themselves into the busy life of a successful day and boarding prep school.
● Teach PE and Games lessons and officiate sporting fixtures
● Assist with major sporting and House events
● Involvement in the co-curricular clubs and activities programme, including planning and leading
activities as directed by the Director of Sport and Co-Curricular
● Compliance with St George’s School Windsor Castle safeguarding policies and procedures

Desirable Personal Attributes
● The ability to teach and officiate a variety of sports including netball, hockey, swimming, football,
cricket and athletics
● Experience working with children from Kindergarten to Year 8
● The ability to teach swimming to 4-7 year olds
● First aid training (this will be provided if not in place or up to date)
● Ability to drive the school minibus (training will be provided if required)
● Desire to further their professional development across a range of taught sports
