Peripatetic Teacher of Low Brass & Ensemble Coach

Summary

The Hall School seeks an experienced, organised Low Brass and French horn teacher for one‑to‑one lessons (Years 3–8) and ensemble coaching.

Detail

The Music Department at The Hall School is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly organised teacher of Low Brass (trombone, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, tuba) to join our busy department as a self-employed Visiting Music Teacher. The candidate must also be able to teach French horn.

You will be able to demonstrate your experience as a professional performer and brass teacher, delivering one-to-one lessons to students in Years 3–8 across a range of abilities.

In addition to teaching individual brass lessons, you will assist with coaching our Training Band and Concert Band.

Due to our timetable for teaching rooms and ensembles, this position is offered on Tuesdays only, from 8 am - 4 pm. If required, the candidate may also assist with ensembles on Wednesday mornings and provide additional individual lessons.

Music tuition at The Hall is first-class, delivered by visiting professionals with a comprehensive programme of ensembles that supports the curriculum. With a calendar of concerts, competitions, workshops, and exams, each pupil can develop at their own pace and pursue their individual musical interests.
