We are seeking an outstanding and experienced teacher and leader to join The Elms as Assistant Head (EYFS & Key Stage 1) on a maternity cover basis for up to one year. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about early education and committed to delivering excellence in teaching, learning and pastoral care.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across EYFS and Key Stage 1, supporting high standards of teaching and learning, leading and developing colleagues, and working collaboratively with pupils, parents and the wider school community. The role includes a teaching commitment of approximately 50% and forms part of the wider leadership team.

This role would suit an ambitious and inspiring leader with proven experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1, a strong understanding of curriculum development, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, and a desire to make a significant contribution to the ongoing success of The Elms.
