Salary: £37,000 – £43,500 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full Time, term time only, Maternity Cover
Hours of Work: 8am-5pm term time

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspiring, dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our Prep department at Upton House School.
A little bit about us
We are a small independent school in Windsor. The school has been running since 1936. We value each and every member of our staff team and recognise that people can bring different ideas and suggestions all of which are equally valued. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked with the school for many years.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day academic progress and pastoral care of the children in their class and will teach Year 4 & 5 maths across the Prep department using adaptive teaching.
As a maths specialist, this teacher will promote mathematics teaching and learning throughout the curriculum, working alongside the Deputy Head – Academics and the Director of Studies as well as other colleagues in the Maths department.
This fantastic opportunity will be suited to an individual who is committed to inspiring and motivating children through their innovative and engaging teaching.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate for this role would:
· Experience in teaching KS2 Maths, using adaptive teaching
· QTS
· Knowledge of the ISEB curriculum (desirable)
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
· Be forward thinking and creative
· Commitment to your role and being an inspiration to the children
· Have a fun, can do attitude
· A willingness to meet challenges with enthusiasm and to contribute as a team member is essential
