SENIOR INSTRUCTOR SAILING & WATERSPORTS 

Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education. We run our own prestigious and well-established Summer School for children aged 8-16 from approximately 40 nationalities. Each year we create a vibrant international community where our staff play a critical role in creating a happy and formative summer experience for our students.  

We are looking for a senior instructor to work in our RYA Recognised Training Centre (RTC) based in Hopeman.  You will deliver enjoyable and engaging sailing and watersports sessions for young people aged 8-12. You will have relevant instructor experience and be able to lead sessions as required by the Chief Instructor.

Applicants must hold the RYA Senior Instructor, the RYA Powerboat Level 2 and the RYA Safety Boat qualifications. Additional instructional or coaching awards are desirable.

Summer School operates two courses and the sailing and watersports instructors are required to be available for the full duration.   2024 dates, including mandatory induction, are: 

Tues 2nd July – Mon 5th August 

Residential position with full board.  Competitive Salary.
